@paulk I once bought a video of a San Francisco Mime Troupe play (from a cast member after a live performance). I showed it to some relatives over Xmas and one asked me why artists are always leftists. I said (to be funny), "well, look at who wants to support the arts and who doesn't."

I think this is dangerous, and most comments show that "we" left people have the same arrogance and excluding mindset like the right wing ones. You don't need to be educated to understand some basic principles of humanity and compassion that will make you "left". Admiring ourselves how smart we are and laughing at MAGA or AfD people how stupid they are helps nothing but only makes things worse. -
