Yeah, they would ruin it with Cruz, I mean, Cruise.

I liked Spielberg's take on "War of the Worlds" but I would have cast as lead someone with actual Noo Joisyness like Ray Romano, JoJoFromJerz or Lindsey Nicole (she'd've been minus five years old or something).

            it's a real installation

            https://www.popsci.com/technology/worlds-largest-day-of-the-dead-sculpture-mexico/

the second photo might be touched up by AI or some photoshop. it does have a slightly dreamy quality. or it might be just a damn good photo through some hazy atmospherics, i don't know. the first photo might be enhanced by LEDs. again, i don't know

@RnDanger Your scepticism is completely normal, Mexico is pretty surprising! In social media we Mexicans often say "Mexico outdoes AI again" and post weird but real pictures. I can vouch for the giant Catrina, it is in the Zócalo right now. I live like 3km from it (i.e., pretty close by Mexico City standards). @Migueldeicaza

@Migueldeicaza #alt4you An immense figure of a female skeleton towers over a city plaza at sunset, flowers in her hair, in floral decorative paint and an embroidered, sweeping purple dress, surrounded by marigolds and tiny ant-like crowds near a comparatively tiny (but still huge) platform labeled La Catrina Más Alta del Mundo (“the tallest Catrina in the world.”)

@Migueldeicaza #alt4you Photograph from down a tall, multistory city street of the same titanic Catrina, distance slightly exaggerated by the haze of midday, against a blue sky with clouds. The photography winks a bit at Godzilla in how she seems to emerge from behind one block of buildings as if striding across the city, but she grins sunnily with her wrists at her hips and elbows out.
