@jwcph this, so much this.And the neglect of the fact, that eliciting correct and complete (enough) requirements is one of the hardest and least trivial tasks in software engineering/design means that we will keep on hearing about failure upon failure of large scale IT projects. Mainly public sector ones because they both have the scale and complexity built in, but also because there are transparency requirements in the public sector. So no sweeping million kroner mistakes under the rug
