@bjb I must say a lot of us wear our clothes many times more than twice before washing. My woolen sweaters I have not washed a single time ever for several of them. Underwear directly in contact with skin is the only thing to really wash regularly. Oh wait, my woolen socks... You'd be surprised how little they smell.
