@jwcphOooh, the mother of all rabbit excavations. My current favourite is the Boss Bluesdriver (not really transparent, and that's the point). I use a 30£ China copy (Rowin Bluesy), which does the trick and takes up less space on the board.There are cheap copies of most popular circuits available, so you could try them all and then spend a few hundred quid on a boutique version with a prettier paint job once you've found your favourite.

I asked Anthony about it when I bought the amp, because I wasn't sure how loud 15 class A tube watts would be in an apartment & he said "it takes an attenuator really well" & it quickly turned out I'd need one 😁

@TheGreatLlama @iain I'd been looking around for tube amps in the 3-10 watt range, so basically practice amps - there's quite a few of them around & some of them get really good reviews - but then I started seeing videos of this one and, well...

@AlexanderVI Absolutely no frills - all work & all cost goes towards the sound 🥰 that's why it can be hand-built & still affordable There's some SERIOUS tone-shaping going on with that lo-pass/hi-pass filter setup, I'mg going to have so much fun playing with this!
