@Stagen I wonder as well - but that thought is also a source of encouragement; apparently humanity has always had an asshole problem, and yet we've still managed considerable progress... if hoping was hopeless, the assholes would have won a long time ago.

@koen_hufkens @alx they said it was to "keep an open mind' then, now they assert it is pseudo-science. Don't tell me they didn't know from the get go.
