@blogdiva and when cultures socialize males to think that emotions are frivolous, or that emotion based skills/depth somehow diminishes “manliness", the culture helps to create that indifference. It helps to create folks so unskilled around emotions that can’t tell their own real motivations from a hole in the ground.
