@strayhorse I got myself an Akai MPK Mini, specifically because its 8 pads were said to be good I'd love a kit, too, seems like fun, but I also have the noise issue - I think modern digi kits are pretty silent but the kick will always involve stomping & it would drive my downstairs neighbors insane But yeah, MIDI gets complicated very quickly - for now I've resigned to mostly just use default setrings. Relatively speaking MTP is one of the easier ones for MIDI mapping though
