@jwcph I use Qwant. They don't have LLM crap, is a French site, and they are working on a pure European search engine and crawler.That being said, they do have an LLM, but it is completely opt-in and on a separate site. And they've assured me that it will stay like that.

@jesn @anildash Well, step one was Google deliberately making search worse - because Google wants the same thing; they may have said originally that they wanted to make information avaliable, but the truth is they want our time, attention & data & have no intention of giving us anything in return. But yes.

@blackfire I'm already using Reaper the trick is running non-linux VST plugins with it - I think I have it working now though, as far as the test goes anyway. Thanks for the Affinity guide, looks a bit above my pay grade but it might still help. I will not be switching; to me there is no alternative.
