Scribbly feels more soft and huggable. Forg's door, in particular, feels kind of cold in the polished one. All straight lines and hard angles.

@heyheymomo I think the scribbly one here is better. It has a human touch. The polished style feels more mechanical. There's something about the more open artistic choices made in the scribbly one that I prefer as well (tree density, layout of bottom left panel, desk of bottom right).
