@db I like how they have a heading that says:

      > Ideal use cases

      And then text which says:

      > StyleX works well in a wide variety of projects. However, it was designed to meet the challenges of particular use cases.

…and then don’t mention any use cases 🤦‍♂️

@db Just saw a video "why everyone is moving to stylex?"

I was gonna comment that it's not a question, then they fixed the title. It's a proper question now...

If that assertion is true, the reason would be that software developers are perpetual high schoolers chasing after the popular kids, I guess.

@db "The styling system that powers Meta"? No thanks, I'll stick to futzing around in plain old hand-written CSS.

@db why use cascading style sheets when you could use cascading variable names like “styles” and “color styles” 😅

@db corporate tech's obsession with programmers having to learn as few programming languages as possible (so that they're replaceable) has resulted in the much worse situation of programmers having to learn an infinite array of redundant frameworks.

@urlyman @db you misunderstand. There is an ideal of use cases. What those are we can kinda get closer to, but we can never truly know the ideal.
