@randahl The U.S. has become everything we've always said we oppose. The world needs to act accordingly. Until further notice, treat us like a bigger, dumber North Korea.

@BruceMirken @randahl The U.S. government you may mean. I've seen the majority of that country as you see it today, although on very rare occasions have crossed with decent human Americans

@epistomai Yes, the people in charge. Some decent folks remain.

@randahl The ICC, who has an outstanding arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin. I’m sure that sanctioning the ICC was not in any form or manner a condition for Putin to help out Trump with his diesel price problem, going into the midterms. It’s probably just the Nobel Peace Prize for a former ICC judge. And the ICC having an outstanding arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, who is with Trump in his adventure in Iran. Which is the cause of Trump’s diesel price problem, going into the midterms.

@ArtHarg @randahl We have to remember that the monthly quantities of diesel are but a small fraction of what the US alone consumes in a week.

I have seen a calculation that suggests that the initial 300,000 tonnes of diesel amounts to 15-16 hours of US diesel fuel consumption.

This will do nothing to reduce pump prices in the US.

Let's just hope that this point is picked up by Fox News and broadcast to its viewers.

@randahl Strange that the US didn't sanctioned the Nobel Prize Committee: they never said thank you for all the peace efforts of president Trump. Or the whole Norway.
