Today, I explored a new watershed (my go-to spot, for decades, was recently destroyed in a forest fire). I was not disappointed, at all. There is a huge diversity of plant species (many edible), yew trees (very special to me), a lovely creek with trout, and some good-sized Douglas fir trees. I am thankful to have this lovely area within 20 km from my home!
