@stux I’m just a guy living a pretty swell life, and I think about eating billionaires all the time. If I am thinking that, others are thinking far worse thoughts.
Taxes seem like a pretty easy out in the grand scheme of things.

@stux funny because education actually defeats poverty (not only of course), imagine all this money would have, or would be invested in human intelligence

@stux We had those, they were TAXES, way back when the US was a functional country, when the then-billionaires (adjust money values) paid over 80% income tax.
They used to flaunt that tidbit among each other in a competition of vanity.
Then, US had state funded child care, healthcare, best infrastructure and education in the world. People left high school with a job, and that job would pay for your life, comfortably.
What a thought. Maybe we should go back to that.
