@pietkuip probably because there was no Niño those years? - it's not a yearly event and comparing those years wouldn't tell you anything useful
edit: actually where do you have that info from - I don't see it being limited like that
edit: yes I can definitely spot the previous two years in there as hard as it is to spot them

@ColinTheMathmo Your post as it appears on the Mastodon feed and the graph that is **cropped** must be contributing to the lack of attention. See my screenshot of what I see. The cropping removed the title which is critical. Your opinion is secondary.
