@bathtub_jen I'm ngl, i dont think there is one (at least not one i know of that's on the popularity of like an Indeed).
AngelList is the one that's kinda heartbreaking to me. They used to be a good job board, now it's just a slop factory

@bathtub_jen like a niche custom hand made software company? Unfortunately hand typing source code as a job will probably disappear soon, but there are other jobs in the software industry I hope.

But Nik made an appearance at a podcast talking about his essays on being anti-AI, and basically said that going solo as an IT consultant and developer was blindingly easy, at least in his case, and he was pulling in a lot more now than he ever did as an employee.

Bear with it as long as possible. I have been looking since Jan 2026 and it just seems to be getting worse. Although I suspect my age is working against me too.

I just read about a Humanist who successfully argued in Kentucky that using AI went against his religion. He no longer has to use it for his job.
