The Rolling Stones & Beatles were hip in an era that is long gone. they are now part of the #EpsteinClass #gerontocracy and we should stop pretending they aren’t social and cultural anachronisms.
This is a thing I have decidedly complained about. Every city event here is a Beatles cover band. I feel like my generation never even got a moment in the sun. Could they imagine being forced to listen to In the Mood for 50 years at every public event they ever attended until every last member of that generation died?
