I was this morning years old when I noticed that my work iPhone does facial recognition in pictures I take...

That is creepy as all fuck & even though I would never, ever tag / identify any of those faces, I now feel even worse taking - much less sharing! - pictures featuring strangers, e.g. in the street or a crowd.

I'm increasingly convinced Big Tech is unsalvageable & just has to die. The obvious evil is rapidly outstripping any benefits we might feel that it brings us.
