I have a dull practical boring thing to do today. It will take a few hours. It will be satisfying when it’s done. I don’t want to do it. I’d better start procrastinating now or I won’t have time to put it off for long enough. Did I ever tell you about the time I saw a bird?
God arbejdslyst! -
Or that time I saw a log relaxing at home?

@CiaraNi and what a bird! A common swift. My favourite!

@CiaraNi Very boss. It's the Captain's Log.

Welcome to The Log Inn -
@CiaraNi mandatory log song.
@Nickiquote I did not know there was a log song. I am pleased to know this. When I saw the log house, I thought: So this is where the Log Lady lives. I wanted to add a photo of the Log Lady from Twin Peaks here, but to my surprise there is no photo of her on Wikimedia Commons and no photo at all of the actress on her Wikipedia page. This makes her even more curious to me.

@CiaraNi Where about was that? Jeg vil også gerne se en fugl en gang

@CiaraNi
Welcome to The Log Inn@dugartogo Maybe it is The Log Inn for the seagulls that hang out there. Where they go for Sunday lunch. I believe they have a Bring Your Own Fish menu.

@dugartogo Haha - det var ved Brabrandsøerne for et par uger siden. Hvis du skynder dig, kan du måske indhente fuglen.

@CiaraNi Very boss. It's the Captain's Log.
@mjj The Captain's Log. That feels exactly right. Especially right there at the sea-faring entry to the city. That's what I'm calling it from now on.

@Petermid What a bird, yes indeed. A fabulous chirping swooping flock of them had darted back and forth in formation overhead for a while. A mesmerising show. I only tried to snap a shot at the end as they flew off, but not being a swift, I was too slow, hence the dot.

Tak for motivationen!

@TrueNorthSpice Ah! The pun had not occurred to me. I love it

@rvedotrc It's a fancy log. Has a house with a sea view.

I must admit, I find most log photos look a bit staged, and the poor log itself is often awkward and reluctant to really express itself.
By going into its home setting, you've really put this one at ease and and captured its true logness. A masterpiece.

I probaly caught on because over in B.C., my home province, log houses are popular, thankfully they are a more spacious and provide more shelter than this one.

@CiaraNi which reminds me,
@rvedotrc I can't tell what that is - it's not showing any preview, so I haven't clicked. Am I missing out?

@Badgardener Thanks. Yeah, it seemed a bit wooden at first, but finally relaxed enough for a casual pose.
Someone created physical form of a funny pun
