They say it’s the oldest wooden church in Europe. There are just a few dozen full time residents. A brave and resilient community for sure.

Love 'em! But it's easy to misunderstand the scale. A person is twice as tall as the lowest set of eaves!@mrundkvist I was baptised in Borgund Stave Church. Dark ceremony (literally, as there is no artificial light in there). @xankarn

@xankarn @mrundkvist I’m not particularily religious anymore, but still a fun memory (I baptised at 14). Bergen is good, I recommend.
