I really don't know. Personally, I've taken using Qwant. It's not fully independent but it's reliable and has strong privacy stance.

@Ruth_Mottram 1. Jolla Phone. 2. A Google Pixel device and flash it with GrapheneOS. 3. Murena phone with /e/OS.

I can't remember the last time I've used google. I started using Duck when it first came out.
