@lemgandi I only managed that by virtue of refusing to use anything else. But I have many friends who have still not switched. And getting the teenagers on to password managers and proton was a struggle too
@Ruth_Mottram @lemgandi this is how i mostly have for people to signal too, or lost touch with them tbh. i have had less luck with getting my YA’s to take this kinda thing on board but this reminds me to have another go

@lususlumi @lemgandi if it helps neither of my teens wanted a password manager but after only a couple of weeks they got the point...

@Ruth_Mottram I got 85% of the way through making one as a plugin for Obsidian, at a friend's request. Been too swamped lately to finish it, but I'll share it publicly once it's ready.

@citc Why not just get a calendar or print a single page to make a few crosses every month?

@noodlemaz @ang6666 @Ruth_Mottram Sometimes I wonder whether people are only comparing the apps to, like, wall calendars. I'm glad people have whatever works for them, but paper cycle charts ruined me for everything else. They are so fast to fill out and make it so easy to see patterns by eye. I have quit probably a dozen cycle tracking apps over the years because they feel like so much work in comparison and they don't add any extra insight

@noodlemaz Spreadsheets on your own computer would be useful, too. I would never trust my menstrual record to a 3rd party app, regardless of the state of the state. Privacy is still a thing worth fighting for. 3rd party apps are never private. @canyakker @citc

@Ruth_Mottram the proton one seems pretty good so far! kinda terrifying to be shown excatly how many times and places ive used the same passwords for a mix of incresibly important things and inconsequential things. whoops
