My helmet made forceful contact with someone's face while I was absolutely committing a penalty. They're okay but they had to step out of practice for a few minutes and I'm pretty shaken up about it.

Imagine if it was worse and, like, I fell on someone and broke their leg. Suddenly I'm the "biological male" in a women's sport hurting the "real" women.

Trans gals who play women's sports, how do you cope with the fact that all it takes is one slip up and the wrong people to be involved and suddenly you're a Fox News headline?

I'm honestly scared.

Granted, two of my teammates were wearing shirts that say "protect trans athletes" tonight so I'm probably in one of the best places I could be as a transfem doing sports.
