That does appear to be some kind of gun-shaped object being wielded against a protester's foot on the ground before the pro-coup cops run off.
1879 people have been detained in the anti-coup protests in Turkey and of "those taken into custody, 260 were sent to prison, while 468 were placed under judicial control. 662 people are still in custody".

Anti-coup protests also continued in Şişli district of İstanbul, whose mayor also was usurped as part of Erdoğan's currently ongoing coup, while the neighborhood cheered and banged pots and pans in support.
