🤬@HarriettMB I think it might be the worst police behaviour I've seen with relation to Palestine/anti-genocide protests (proportional to size of demonstration). I don't think I've ever seen use of dogs, *especially* in Europe.

@noiseician I was saying to someone else this morning that I don't think I've seen police use dogs at a Palestine protest before.
I'm not easily shocked by police brutality but this is something else.

I friend of mine is missing af chunk of her leg because she bitten by a police dog, that want let go, some years back.
And another friend of mine got paralyzed in three of her fingers, because a police dog bit her in the elbow joint and damage the nerves going to her fingers.
It happens a lot.
I haven’t seen this level of violence from police since before the eviction of the youth house I gotta say -

in #denmark you can always tell what kind of protest it is from which way the #cops are facing:• towards the protest, prepared to attack protesters: #antiracist demo.
• towards the public, protecting the protesters: #racist demo.
there was a demonstratiom outside a danish F-35 factory. as protesters had left and were waiting for the train at the station, cops followed them there, to set the attack dogs loose on them, and started beating people with sticks.
this is the standard here, unfortunately, as the entire parliament — including the left-wing parties — has agreed on criminalizing #palestine solidarity protests, and smear them as #antisemitic.

Someone was arrested at the Nakba march in London on Saturday for saying "globalise the intifada"; another for wearing a fancy dress costume of the grim reaper, while people shouting "who the fuck is Allah", mocking Muslims from a huge stage in Parliament Sq, and wearing strips of bacon on their shoulders to "ward off Muslims" were left alone.
I saw a clip from Düsseldorf this morning of a Nazi march literally being given a police guard.
