We don’t really have a “far-left” in this country as compared to the rest of the world.
But, if the choice for you between prison camps without due process for hated minorities and universal access to healthcare in the USA is a difficult one, then you already side with the far-right in your moral bankruptcy.
@danwentzel There are a very few committed communists and anarchists in the US. I had one tell me that North Korea is a good place. But to say that’s equivalent to the neo Nazis is absurd

Centrists in the USA are right wingers, socialism is the centrist position. The people claiming to be centrists are simply afraid of change even if that change would be positive.

@danwentzel Democrats have always been progressive, but we’ve been intelligent enough to know worthwhile progress does not happen overnight.
