@SheDrivesMobility I admire the leaders of France and Spain for opposing these initiatives, though regrettably they might change their minds if their migrant numbers increase due to the restrictions put in place by other EU countries. Those of us who would like to leave the US for Europe have learned from experience that although residency laws in Europe are surely kinder and gentler than ICE practices in the US, they are fundamentally just as exclusionary in most EU countries. In reality, we all share the same planet and need to act like it.

Europe should repatriate all of its refugee populations. I'm not even talking aboriginal peoples, just the many millions of people whose ancestors were Italians, Germans, Portuguese, English, Scottish, French, Irish, etc. that fled Europe over the last 300 years or so for "reasons".

Send the Europeans back to Europe.

Seems fair. I wouldn't mind living in my ancestral lands of Sicily, Scotland, or Switzerland. I bet they would mind us all coming back, though.
