Over the last few months, I have been contributing election polling places to OpenStreetMap. I've made improvements to each of the nearly 150 Minneapolis voting precincts, focusing primarily on:
- Correctness: updating addresses/names, as required.
- Transportation: availability of bike and car parking.
- Accessibility: tagging wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking.

This project brought me to every corner of the city. I visited each polling location by bike, spending many evenings and weekends to document these details. The amount of effort was enormous, but if it helps even one more person cast a ballot, I believe my effort was worth it.

In this election, more than any other, it is essential for every eligible person to cast a ballot. If I can visit 150 polling places in a few months, I hope you can find time to visit just one between now and November 3rd.
