    Uhm. Internet. Can you help two millennial parents with the following question?

    When a woman can’t eat sugar due to gestational diabetes, spends 30 hours in labor which ends with being sliced open to pull an entire human being out of her body, proceeds to not get any sleep as she recovers, and then comes home to find out the apple strudel she has been looking forward to for two months has been eaten by her partner, is she entitled to hold on to that particular grudge for eternity?

          @Pepijn can you tell me, for science, whether @juliette ever lost one of these polls?

            @venite Science is not a popularity contest Anna. There's no winning or losing. That said. There's a clear trend to the people selecting what Juliette considers to be correct. But it's never a full binary outcome.

            edit: no

              @juliette@mastodon.green @Pepijn@mastodon.online Don't think I'd want a two month old apple struddel.

                @Pepijn Get used to it. You'll be living with that grudge for decades. Henceforth, she must always have first dibs on the sweets and baked goods. That won’t lead to forgiveness, but perhaps acceptance.

                  @Pepijn She most certainly is! In fact: she's entitled to eat all the apple strudel you'll ever buy and to name this grudge at every fight you'll have. Ever.

                  Is she okay by the way?

                    Well, at least until he has provided her with sufficient(*) strudels to make up for it.

                    (*) I.e., until she tells him to stop.

                      @Pepijn Yes. Also, her partner should bake or buy her a replacement apple strudel as soon as possible.
