@startrek I just have to link this scene. Symbiosis is Denise Crosby's last filmed episode, so these are her final scenes. They seem to have given her more screen time and dialogue exchanges than usual, including this one, where she gets to emote. Unfortunately, this one comes across like an ABC after school special.

In hindsight I probably watched this show way too young.

@FlashMobOfOne @startrek Bummed about substance abuse on Star Trek? Or about ABC after school specials? I'd say the target age for either is 12 and up.

@FlashMobOfOne @startrek Ah, that was a different episode. Yeah, it was sad—they rarely killed off major characters in TV back then, so folks were shook. I know I was.
