I’ve got a short trip to Copenhagen coming up. Haven’t been in 10+ years! Any recommendations for things to do, esp. places to eat and drink, much appreciated.

@damianwalsh Oysters & Grill - for dining - of course only if you’re into the “fruits from the sea”

@damianwalsh
Checkout https://www.tipster.io/ - they promote (new-ish?) places. It is 9/10 a win in my opinion. This is my personal shortcut to finding new places.https://birdcph.dk/ has has by far my favorite cocktails.
Anything in particular that interest you - then I can maybe recommend a little more precise in terms of activities

@jalict Ace, thank you! Some places I recognise from Googling I’d already done, and lots more besides. One thing I was keen to introduce the person I’m going with to (they haven’t visited Scandinavia before) is Smørrebrød, and I’d been looking at Selma. Is it a good place?

https://cofoco.dk/en/restaurant/oysters-and-grill#menu@anport Yeah, definitely up for some seafood, and one of the nights we’re there is a big birthday. I’d been looking at Kødbyens Fiskebar, but I’ve no idea whether it’s now very touristy. Our accommodation is in Ørestad.

@damianwalsh Depends on whether you want
Smørrebrød Extreme Edition
️ then it looks really fancy! But I haven't been there. For the most part it looks like it has the classics so thats good!But otherwise I would take something more simple like https://maps.app.goo.gl/mNC4JVQtwaaNeyjY8
But I am not the biggest Smørrebrød person so don't bet on my advice

@damianwalsh ah, Ørestad, I don’t much about where to eat and what to explore out there but I’m sure you’ll find something nice. Oysters & Grill is a bit far from Ørestad

(also I havn’t been to Kødbyen recently but it’s probably cool but can certainly get busy during the weekends).
Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help out or at least try to do so … -
