              Oh, lovely, these photographs bring a big smile to my face.

              I quickly looked up Arctic Hares; they seem to be really interesting creatures.

              That piece of cardboard must have some special appeal (insulation?), Arctic Hare Number 1 clearlly has chosen to sit on it rather than anywhere else!

                  @NunavutBirder I used to see those when I was assigned to Thule Air Base (Pittufk). I used to mess with some of the new guys by convincing them the rabbits were more dangerous than the Archies 😅

                        @NunavutBirder I saw several in the wilds, when working on some documentary filming up in Arctic regions, many years back. I never really realized how large the hares are up there. They were awesome to watch 😊
