After years of mostly using the excellent Iosevka Term font for terminals and editors I have now changed to Input Mono.

Iosevka Term is very narrow, an 80x25 terminal is close to square, whereas Input Mono give a much more classic terminal outline. This is somehow very pleasing to me.

The letters are quite squarish and very easy to read and distinguish.

There are Input Sans and Input Serif fonts too, I've set them as the default fonts in my browser.

@liebach if i ever get to a point where every creative expression doesn't feel pointless anymore, on my todo list is a revision of Phelsuma to be less narrow than it is.

@joel As long as there's something inside them to distinguish easily from 'O'etc. it's fine by me.

Input Mono reminds me of the JMK X11 font I used sometime back in the last millennium, but I can't find a sample now (which is wild, I think. Makes me feel old, I used to use stuff that has disappeared. You can still install the font from package on some OS'es though).

In Emacs, set default font to Input Mono, variable-pitch to Input Serif.

I also tried setting default font to Input Sans, but got anxiety from that. I am not yet ready.
