A Fediverse bot that posts a GIF at 10 minutes to midnight of your server administrator saying "Time now, everybody - last toots at the bar." At 5 minutes to midnight, Eugen flashes the lights. At midnight, Mastodon plays your national anthem. You stand. You finish singing the last line with a little cheer and go to bed. Your home timeline transmits the Test Card. The Fediverse will resume transmission at 0600 hours. Even the reply guys will come back well-rested.

Do we get to see a static test page during that time? I think I would like that.@rstub Yes, me too. That's what was I imagining. Not a 'screensaver' style graphic with any kind of movement, but a good old-fashioned static test card.
