The gripe: The fucking background image of the new tab page loads off the internet every time???
My internet connection cut off for a second. And the background image. Did not load? The fuck is it doing loading EVERY TIME, why isn't it just saved! -

The fuck is it doing loading EVERY TIME, why isn't it just saved!What size of village somewhere out there is getting burned off the face of the earth because a fucking background image, a static image that doesn't change, that I picked once months ago and have not changed since... Reloads itself every single time I open a tab?? I really hope it's not really like that, because good fucking heavens that's just... Wasteful and stupid and has no good reason to do that?

I did briefly think that maybe the copyright permissions might get revoked, but surely that's something that could be checked once every day at most... Good grief

@sinituulia the way that browsers cache or not content is very silly. i spend so much time with testers and clients going "can you try it in an incognito / private window"
