With respect to a Fairphone 4 that can see and use SIM card, both eSIM and regular, having internet connectivity and SMS/MMS working just fine, but:
Cannot make phone calls
Do you have an idea about what needs replacing?
Bonus info: the physical SIM card works as expected in two other phones of different brands, including calling.
So a carrier issue is unlikely.@folfdk @iFixit Have you checked the Fairphone forums? Some are hinting sim card age, Fairphone and carrier compatability and 4G calling.
https://forum.fairphone.com/t/calls-are-not-working/95407
Also, Fairphone support is resonably responsive in my experience. If it is a fault with your phone, it should be possible to fix.
Also, have you tried with a different sim card in the phone? Just for troubleshooting?

Thanks for chiming in Bjarne!I've had a support case running since early september with no word from Fairphone unfortunately.
I've tried searching in the forums, but I'm not sure I've used the right keywords. I'll take a look at the link you provided

So a carrier issue is unlikely.@folfdk That almost sounds more like a software issue than a hardware one, but it's hard to say without doing some diagnostics. Were the Fairphone forums any help?

@iFixit
Thank you for the reply.I've not been able to dig up any useful previous information from the forums, so I should get around to asking and describing the situation there.
Would definitely be good trying to get more diagnostic info, I'm just not sure how to do it -

Nej, ikke endnu desværre -
@oldrup

@oldrup
