The trade off here is that summer time is absolutely unbearablebut winter is quite lovely. Also having never actually seen snow, I'm free to romanticise it to my heart's content and I never have to think of the harsh realities

@3TomatoesShort yeah, I like snow for the most part but we have very little of it in Copenhagen, where I live. Other parts of Denmark get more, and Norway, Sweden and Finland much more. (I like that you see that it maaay not always be wonderful but still romanticize it—my husband does the same
)

My mum lived in London for a while when she was younger, and very firmly disillusioned me about the accuracy of magical, glittery Christmas movies
I still want to go and experience snow at least once though!! -
