Knowledge and awareness are an indispensable source of opposition to an utterly unacceptable political regime. They are not sufficient to change things but they are necessary. @heidilifeldman I find this aspect to be the most frustrating remnant of the Obama admin. The notion that progressive success was inevitable, so progressives had only to be smart, aware, and could, from a place of sarcasm or disdain, simply call out hypocrisy. It’s action less and glib. It’s also dangerous at this point. Because democracy, freedom, human rights, right of law are not self-evident. They’re constant pushes or else constantly eroded.
My vote for action is soft secession.

It’s 2026 – #US midterms in November! If you want the #vote to work now, get an ever growing mass of the concerned to contact their reps with the #impeachment demand, or, we #primary you with someone who will, while finding those candidates and promoting them
