    @failedLyndonLaRouchite what are you talking about? If you think she wasn't a senior advisor you need at least give some evidence of that

      @liaizon

      sorry, no not disputing that she was a SA

      disputing what "senior advisor" means cause as I read this, "senior advisor" means she is some sort of bad person not to be trusted (roughly speaking)

        @failedLyndonLaRouchite I think anyone who gets involved in the US National Security aparatus is already a spesific type of person. You don't just find yourself there. That's not to say they are "bad" or "good" but it already pinpoints the area of focus your life has taken.

          @liaizon Your post came across my feed alone, and before I clicked through, my first thought was

          "But .. isn't accurate measurement kind of important? And straight lines? I still use a ruler even though it's been years since grade school."

            @nemobis @liaizon If Wikipedia is not part of Wikimedia foundation, why is Wikipedia periodically running really intrusive ads that are persuading people to donate to that foundation, while saying that they aren’t running ads?

              @nemobis @liaizon And why does every Wikipedia page say "A Wikimedia project", a link to a page that says "All major projects are operated by the Wikimedia Foundation", if Wikipedia is not operated by the Wikimedia Foundation?

                @liaizon The reply (x2 via zendesk, see my profile name) to my donation cancellation reads like the comms team at Walmart. Smells like a CEO relationship to Wikipedia to me.

                      @liaizon even if the org needed some kind of central head person to coordinate things, i feel like they would attract much less attention from the worst sorts of human beings on earth if they'd change the position name to idunno jannyhead or something

                      (thinking about this thing i read a while ago about how they tried to replicate the stanford prison experiment, changed the wording of the recruitment ad to be about psychology rather than prison and the people who showed up were just chill)

                          @liaizon Eh....Boy have you got a weird read on that one. Unless you have evidence or proof to the contrary what that actually means is a free speech advocate is in a position to advise government about classification standards.

                            @liaizon If someone needs to be in charge, pick someone whose career has been with libraries. Not a corporate shill or a spook.
