Spotted a suspicious specter? Identified an inconceivable oddity? Or witnessed a weird wyrm?

In an effort to expand the taxonomic coverage of species through GBIF.org records, we are now seeking occurrences of mythical and supernatural biodiversity.

We draw our taxonomic names from multiple sources and are proud to announce we will also be including ancient monster texts as an additional source of information to support the GBIF Backbone Taxonomy.
