I do not for a moment seek in any way to valorize the Iranian regime, but I notice most mainstream media are echoing the Trump/Netanyahu line that Iran posed an imminent nuclear threat.
The IAEA is not a politicised organisation. Their report is clear.

Meanwhile the farce of the Trump telling Iranians to evacuate Tehran is cruel lunacy.
Tehran is a city of 14 million people. There is, according to my friend Elnaz who is there, no way to get out of the city. There are 10 hour traffic jams and they’re running out of petrol in the city (because Israel has bombed the refineries). Most people simply CANNOT evacuate.

We received a voice message from her yesterday, before Iran’s internet went down. Very teary, very afraid and bewildered.
This is the woman who bravely protested during the headscarf protests, and abhors the current government.
