    @Thatfeministwoman

Palestinians are also from that place.
Their ancestors lived there continuously for all of recorded history and beyond.

It's the same situation as in the Balkans: the people didn't get exchanged, they just changed their culture. And suddenly some other people who ALSO changed their culture say "We have a right to move there, because of ancient history, and we're going to murder all those people whose ancestors actually did live there in the past"

Don't pretend these are somehow equal propositions.

And the jewish arabs, by the very fact of having lived there forever, were not in any sort of danger before Israel was forced upon the land.

@androcat @benroyce @ManWhoTalksToHisHand @lordkhan @randahl @FrancoisPrague "fun fact" what most people don't know probably but Serbia & Turkey made a deal that they would put Kosovarians to Turkey and Turkey would make them Turk (forget their language and everything) and Serbia would get the country. So it would be almost the same thing If they would have succeeded with it completely and Kosovo Turks would want to go back to Kosovo

I am talking about religious texts being used as historical documents to justify murder.

Fact is : Israelis are mostly not from Israel. They are mostly immigrants from all over the place. There is no credible basis for saying they have a right to return, all of that is a purely political and antisemitic agreement, made by politicians who wanted jews out of europe.

Let me counter with another question:
Does Israel honor the borders of its neighbors (currently existing, neighboring nations)?

If no, then you know a two-state solution is impossible.

@androcat @benroyce @ManWhoTalksToHisHand @lordkhan @randahl @FrancoisPrague they seem not to. That's why they need to throw this government and have a better government. But the truth is is that these arab states want this havoc that's why they are supporting it, palestinians are completely innocent in all this, they are just pawns. Arabs want to make believe that islamofobia is a thing and that islam is attacked and blaah blaah. I heard that Benjamin gave money to Hamas for Oct 7.

@androcat @benroyce @ManWhoTalksToHisHand @lordkhan @randahl @FrancoisPrague They don't want this to end, these big money arab states and Israel. That's what I believe. It was weird when I read that Israel wanted to give Palestine to Jordan (or was it Egypt?) but they didn't want it. If they would have f*king taken it then they could have made it their own state and then they could've had peace, morons. But yeah muslims care so much about eachother lol

And as an atheist, I also have to point out that most atheist "leaders" are scum also.

@androcat @benroyce @ManWhoTalksToHisHand @lordkhan @randahl @FrancoisPrague but you cannot kind of compare atheists and religions. The only common with atheists is that they don't believe in god. The common them of religions is they believe the horrible scripture and want to live by them and want everybody else also to do it. Wars have started because of religions, people have been thrown out of their countries because of religions. Women are killed and raped because of religion

Native America going back to being Natives only and white europeans going back where their ancestors came from. Greenland telling Danish people to go to Denmark etc

                                  Eh. Fair use.

To be perfectly clear: conservative politicians who claim to be "religious" are always always always scum.

Doesn't matter if they're buddhist or christian or jewish or muslim or animists or whatever.

And as an atheist, I also have to point out that most atheist "leaders" are scum also.

And funnily enough, they all seem to have been buddies with Epstein.

                                    I didn't compare their beliefs.

In fact, I never spoke of beliefs at all.

I spoke about "leaders" and "conservative politicians".

That's the real problem (always), and religion (or whatever) is always just an excuse.

People who want to get power as "spokespeople" are always bad.

@benroyce @lordkhan @randahl @FrancoisPrague Ironically, the Jewish ultra-nationalist conflation of Judaism with unconditional support for Israel, is among the reasons for growing antisemitism worldwide, because it portrays Jews - a majority of whom in the diaspora are opposed to what's happening in Palestine, Lebanon etc. - as one monolithic bloc who all share some responsibility for apartheid, ethnic cleansing, war crimes and genocide.

In other words, it puts Jewish people everywhere at risk.

as reasonable as your suggestion sounds, unfortunately sustained peace is not possible in that region. best you can hope for is a temporary hault in hostilities, with a new flare up in a few years.

For centuries under the Ottoman Empire, Muslim, Christian, and Jewish communities lived side-by-side in relative stability. Before that there was good coexistance, except when Crusaders stirred shit up.
Coexistance has deteriorated as Zionists started going there.

Indeed. The middle east has war because the US has wanted it to have war.
Before that, the UK wanted it to have war.
Before that, it was the christian nations that wanted to murder all arabs.

Israel is ultimately just a pawn that has started to play its player.
