@aburtch To think this is only half of the files, there's even more most likely with people who haven't been named yet. Trouble is that the establishment isn't doing a thing, just too afraid of giving justice to the victims because the perps are too powerful to prosecute. It's pathetic and does prove that the law only applies when and where it's applied, where's the raids on these people? Where's the heavily guarded perpwalks for these monsters? @Netraven I admittedly don't have an answer for that. But that shouldn't prevent us from trying. Capitalism does do some things very well, but it has to be HIGHLY regulated and kept on a short leash by governments. Also, it needs to have the welfare of all people and not just ‘profit' as its end goal.
The best path forward that I've seen was Kate Raworth's book “Donut Economics.”

@aburtch I saw Rep. Jamie Raskin sputtering yesterday after having seen the un redacted files . This tells me that there are a lot of Democratic people in those files and not just politicians. But also men (& women) who work in universities, think tanks, corporations and nonprofits, who are known as liberal-minded people. He seemed flabbergasted. These names must all come out — starting with the “six people” he mentioned when he spoke to the press yesterday.

@aburtch The most shocking thing about Epstein is the reaction of the American society. Everyone continues their lives like nothing is happening. Since you see that your parties and your institutions are either powerless or complicit, why don't you do something different? Why not try to organize from the bottom and replace them with systems that can hold these people accountable? Where is this inability coming from?
