Have you looked for museums that keep old trains? Even model railway museums like this way may have detailed models that could be of help.
Not sure if that one has any models, but in our local Trolley Car Museum ( I'm in the US, no Darts here!) they have fully restored cars and you can step inside.

@toothless no reason to reply to this except that I am a transport nerd. I own a handbag lined in moquette fabric from the UK tube network circa 70s, bought from the London Transport Museum so I wondered if anything similar existed in Dublin.
