We haven't reached the level of prosperity we enjoy by economic autonomy but by global trade. And the US are a big player in that. Of course Europe should be able to stand on its own but I think that arguing for becoming independent from the US is about as clever as Trump's tariffs. Both would hurt the global economy immensely and everyone would lose. Not just Trump.@kolya @BuyFromEU
I think it's specifically about hyperscaler tech platforms and European dependence on them. We can't undo the realisation that we can't trust the US since Trump's aggressive second tenure. And this is a huge risk. -
