                The Biology Prize goes to the researcher who (gently) stepped on venomous snakes thousands of times to see what got them to bite: https://www.science.org/content/article/researcher-steps-deadly-vipers-40-000-times-better-predict-snakebites

                (Note: the study was retracted for not getting the proper ethics board approval, although it seemed to be more about the researcher putting himself at risk because he is allergic to both snake venom and antivenom https://retractionwatch.com/2025/03/07/snakes-soft-stepping-retraction-butantan-institute/ )
