Do I know anyone with knowledge about linux sockets?

Do I know anyone with knowledge about linux sockets? I use socat to connect a socket (/var/run/gnss-share.sock) to a tcp socket (on localhost), but I suspect not all data appears on the other side. Ideas and tips wellcome!
