Last day of #SANOG43
-
@sebastian it's ten years next month since my last day at work. I was in Bhutan for #NSRC and I sat on the balcony of a hotel at the airport in Paro waiting to go home and thought "I can't top this".
Great to see #sanog being held in Bhutan.

"#IPv6 project
Forskningsnettet began offering IPv6 in the production network already in 1998 as the first research network in the world. Since then Forskningsnettet has offered access to IPv6 to the connected institutions. But interest has first really shown in the recent years."
Not all institutions have shown interest though ....

Remarkably, while the country of #Denmark shows a slow global-midfield growth in #IPv6, its #NREN #DEIC #Forskningsnet shows a downwards trend in IPv6 capability

Small amount of samples.
In Germany it is similar.

But a lot of universities in de have their own AS.

Most danish universities run on non-NREN ASs too - either their own, or ...
the biggest danish universities' web servers run on #Microsoft and #Fastly #AS
(to be fair, web server doesnt say a lot about rest of their infrastructure)
