Also, you might notice that this is already the "quiet thing Bezos said out loud" - Microsoft is already moving YOUR computing tasks onto THEIR computers, by force & in secret.

@jwcph Yup. At the college, ONeDrive just grabs your stuff.
Yesterday I helped a student use it for the first time and saw I had access to a complete stranger's tax forms that had been saved somewhere from last October. So .... there are lots of issues. -

So .... there are lots of issues.@geonz Oh yes - I work in an organisation with over 1000 people & my colleague & I discovered recently that if we search with Copilot (which he did by accident, because another dark pattern) it serves results from every single employee's & department's OneDrive/Sharepoint content. We work with a lot of confidential stuff, including defense, & I don't think even IT is aware of this.
