@MaryAustinBooks we were joking about this online a year ago - the consensus was it was too dangerous to recommend and was probably not a good idea. So of *course* the men took that as a challenge.

In this case, using the women's room ironically in protest is literally the most bro thing a guy can do, hereby proving the point that trans men are *obviously* men.

This is the goal: to make it impossible to comply. For those who are true believers, this will anger them. Not because these men are pointing out the inherent absurdity of forcing some men to use the ladies room and vice versa, but because these men (and women) still exist. The law's intent is to make transgender people disappear one way or another, to make it that much easier for us to lose jobs or get arrested, to keep tightening that ratchet.

I applaud these brave men. That's not sarcasm. They are risking their livelihood or fines and jail time. I hope those who think they are moderate centrists wake up. Maybe they'll even stop celebrating Harry Potter.
